Colin is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems with a Minor in Finance and an emphasis in Personal Wealth Investment. He brings a unique perspective to his work at OneWealth, having started his career as an Infrastructure Engineer at Principal Financial Group working directly with financial advisors. This behind-the-scenes experience gave him a deep understanding of how advisors best serve their clients, as well as the importance of staying ahead of evolving technology and safeguarding client information through strong data and cybersecurity practices.
Above all else, Colin values building lasting relationships based on trust, open communication, and a genuine understanding of each other as unique individuals.
When away from work, Colin enjoys golfing, spending time with friends, and watching sports with his dog and two cats. He is an avid fan of Iowa State Football and Basketball, the Denver Broncos, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
